Ogden firefighters were investigating the cause of an early Tuesday morning blaze that heavily damaged a vacant home.

No injuries were reported in the 5:53 a.m. fire at 963 E. Patterson Street. Damages were estimated at $75,000.

Ogden City Fire Department crews, later joined by firefighters from South Ogden, had the flames knocked down within an hour of arrival.
