Posted: 2:11 PM- A Salt Lake City businessman has been sentenced to almost three years in prison after pleading guilty to charges in a mortgage fraud scheme he was involved with four years ago.

In addition to the 33-month sentence, U.S. District Judge Dee Benson ordered Rob Ellertson, 42, to pay nearly $2.8 million in restitution to the mortgage and title insurance companies bilked in the scam.
