About 80 young patients from Salt Lake City's Shriners Hospital and hundreds of supporters turned out Saturday for the second-annual "Walk & Roll for Love" to help children with orthopedic conditions. The event included a 1.5-mile journey on 11th Avenue that participants used as a chance to show off their ability, despite a physical disability. The festival culminated with a Family Fest — with rock climbing, carnival games, pony rides, a DJ and more. Organizers hoped to raise $50,000 for the hospital from the event, sponsored by Big O Tires.
