Portland • Jeremy Senglin scored six of his season-high 32 points in overtime to lift Weber State over Portland State 96-93 on Saturday night.

Senglin made a layup, had a steal and dunk, and added a jumper to give Weber State a 92-91 lead with 1:26 remaining. A Portland State turnover and Ryan Richardson's layup stretched it to 94-91.

De'Sean Parsons, who finished with 32 points, made two free throws to pull Portland State to 94-93. Richardson made a pair of free throws, and Calaen Robinson and Parsons missed 3-point shots to end it.

Richardson added 22 points for Weber State (15-8, 10-2 Big Sky), which bounced back from a 77-74 loss at Sacramento State on Thursday and a moved a half-game ahead of North Dakota atop the conference standings. Portland State (12-11, 5-7) has lost five of six.

The Vikings' Traylin Farris split a pair of free throws to tie it at 83, and Senglin missed a 3 at the buzzer to force overtime.

Utah Valley 87, Chicago State 54 • In Chicago, Connor Toolson scored 14 points and led a balanced Utah Valley attack to a blowout win against Chicago State.

Four players finished in double figures for the Wolverines (11-13, 3-6 Western Athletic Conference), and 10 of 11 players had at least one bucket.

Jordan Poydras finished with 12 points while Isaac Neilson and Jared Stutzman each chipped in 10 for Utah Valley, which won its first WAC road game of the season.

The Wolverines shot 52.5 percent of their shots and made 12 3-pointers.

Fred Sims Jr. scored 16 points and Trayvon Palmer added 15 to lead Chicago State (6-21, 1-9). The Cougars made just 11 total field goals and shot 19.3 percent, but did make 28 free throws.

The Cougars lone WAC victory came against Utah Valley on Jan. 12.

The Wolverines ended the first half on a 17-3 run and led 37-18. A Poydras jumper to start the second gave them a 20-point lead and the Wolverines cruised from there.

Montana State 83, Southern Utah 78 • In Cedar City, the Thunderbirds lost to the Bobcats and extended their losing skid to 10 games.

Southern Idaho 94, SLCC 89 • In Twin Falls, the Bruins fell to Southern Idaho as the Golden Eagles used a 7-1 run to pull away for the win.

Westminster 86, New Mexico Highlands 74 • Four Griffins contributed double-digit scoring in Westminster's victory.

Zerrion Payton scored 21 points to lead the Griffins (14-7, 14-5 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference). Casey Evans added 20 points, Dayon Goodman finished with 17 points and Marcus Bryce had 15 points.

Women's Basketball

BYU 73, San Francisco 61 • In Provo, Cassie Broadhead scored 22 points to lift the Cougars over the Dons.

Kalani Purcell added 13 points for BYU ( 16-9, 10-4 West Coast Conference) and Makenzi Pulsipher had 12 points.

BYU went into the third quarter with a 42-32 lead and held the Dons to just 12 points in the quarter, leading by as many as 22 points.

Broadhead scored the team's final six points of the game to give the Cougars a 12- point win over the Dons (13-12, 7-7 WCC).

Wyoming 59, Utah State 40 • In Laramie, Wyoming, the Aggies fell to the Cowgirls, snapping a four-game winning streak.

The two teams were tied at 33 with 3:28 left in the third quarter, before Wyoming (18-6, 10-3 Mountain West Conference) ended the quarter with a 10-0 run to take a 43-33 lead.

Utah State (13-11, 6-7 MW) scored a combined 15 points in the second half.

Weber State 85, Portland State 75 • In Ogden, six Wildcats scored in double digits in their win against the Vikings (10-4, 4-8 Big Sky). Weber State (12-11, 6-6 Big Sky) extended their winning streak to four consecutive games.

Montana State 71, Southern Utah 68 • In Bozeman, Mont., the Thunderbirds lost a close contest to the Bobcats.

SLCC 63, Southern Idaho 48 • In Twin Falls, the Bruins clinched the Scenic West Athletic Conference regular-season championship with a victory over the Golden Eagles.

Olivia Elliss came off the bench to score a team-high 13 points for the Bruins (24-2, 12-0).

Westminster 54, New Mexico Highlands 36 • The Griffins scored first and held control of the lead until they won against Highland.

Utah Valley 63, Chicago State 54 • In Orem, the Wolverines went on a 22-2 run during the fourth quarter to pull ahead and defeat Chicago State (0-24, 0-10 WAC).

Sam Lubke scored 18 points to lead Utah Valley (18-16, 3-6 WAC) and teammate Mariah Seals recorded her first career double-double, with 10 points and 10 assists.

Softball

Utah • In Tempe, Arizona, the Utes earned a 7-0 victory against Indiana and a 9-0 win against UTEP.

Katie Donovan, Miranda Viramontes and Hailey Hilburn combined to allow zero runs on four hits and strike out 10.

Hanna Flippen scored to runs and Annisa Urtez had two RBIs in Utah's win against Indiana.

In the game two, against UTEP, the Utes jumped out to an early lead after scoring eight runs in the first inning.

No. 2 Auburn 3, BYU 0 • In Puerto Vallerta, Mexico, the Cougars dropped their last game of the Puerto Vallerta College Championship.

Freshman Arissa Paulson pitched a complete game in her collegiate debut for BYU (2-2) throwing six strikeouts.

Utah State • The Aggies won both games of a doubleheader, a 9-5 takedown of Loyola Marymount and a 7-3 victory against Cal State Fullerton.

No. 8 UCLA 4-22, Weber State 1-1 • In Los Angeles, the Wildcats lost both games in a doubleheader against UCLA.

The Wildcats scored a run in the first inning of the second game, but were buried by the Bruins.

SLCC • In Marianna, Fla., the Bruins won two games — 1-0 against Gordon College and 4-1 over Central Florida — and lost one to Gulf Coast, 5-1, on Saturday.

Women's Gymnastics

Texas Women's University 195.625, BYU 195.450, Texas Centenary 191.300 • In Denton, Texas, the Cougars earned a season-high overall score to place second. The Cougars also tied or set season-high scores on vault (48.875), bars (49.225) and floor (49.150).

Brittni Hawes had a career-high 9.950 on uneven bars and Mackenzie Douglas tied her career-high of 9.900 on the floor.

Swimming

Washington State 151, Utah 111 • In Pullman, Wash., the Utes fell to the Cougars in their last meet of the regular season.

Jordan Anderson took the top spot in the 200 fly, with a time of 2:01.52, beating second-place Cougar Elise Locke by 24-hundredths of a second.

Women's Tennis

Colorado 4, Utah State 2 • In Boulder, Colorado, the Buffs (6-1) remained undefeated at home with a victory over the Aggies (5-2).

Denver 6, BYU 1 • In Denver, the Pioneers topped the Cougars.

Men's Tennis

USU • In Tucson, the Aggies swept a doubleheader with a 4-0 win against Marquette and a 4-3 victory against Grand Canyon, extending their winning streak to five matches.

BYU 4, Boise State 2 • In Eagle, Idaho, the Cougars bounced back from a loss to Utah with a victory over the Broncos (2-6).

Wrestling

Northern Colorado 22, Utah Valley 14 • In Orem, the Wolverines dropped their final dual of the regular season.
