Get a view of Kanab, Kanab Canyon, the Vermilion Cliffs and sights well into Arizona from this hike. You don't even have to leave Kanab. From the trail head, the path is well marked and climbs gradually. A steep ascent beings at 0.5 miles and continues to the top of the ridge. A map at the trail head shows that you can walk the length of the ridge, however the trail is not well marked. Proceed with caution.

Directions • From Highway 89A in Kanab, turn west on Kanab Creek Road and follow it 1.5 miles. The road will curve to the south and you will turn west on Stansfield Drive. Follow it 0.2 miles. Look for the trail head on the north side of the road.
