Cobra Dogs have come to Utah.

Starting today, Dec. 28, the all-natural hot dogs, bratwurst and veggie dogs will be sold from a bright red cart at Park City Mountain Resort.

Unless you vacation out of state, you've likely never heard of the company. But among outdoor enthusiasts, the dogs are a cult classic. For the last six years, Cobra Dogs has operated during the summer at Government Camp at the base of Mt. Hood. The Cheddaconda dog and other offerings also have been a staple for participants of the High Cascade snowboard camp.

The Park City cart will be the first time Cobra Dogs has operated full time in the winter.

"We've been looking at different food and beverage opportunities for the pipe and park crowd," said Deirdra Walsh, food and beverage director for Park City Mountain Resort. "With the addition of night riding to the Three Kings Terrain Park, we found the perfect fit."

The Cobra Dog trailer will be parked at the base of Park city Resort's Eagle Superpipe, and Three Kings Terrain Park, just above the Eagle Lift. It will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. through March 27.

A grand opening party, including a night rail jam, will be Jan. 14.
