After opening multiple out-of-state locations in the past several months, Cafe Rio Mexican Grill has found its way back to Utah with the opening of a restaurant in Tooele, at 1205 N. Main St.

"We are thrilled to open another location in our home state," said CEO Bob Nilsen, whose company made a $2,500 donation to the Tooele County School District. "With this Tooele opening, we are re-connecting with our roots."

The Tooele location will bring the restaurant count to 39 outlets, including 20 in Utah.

Cafe Rio Mexican Grill Inc., with headquarters in Salt Lake City, operates restaurants in Utah, Nevada, Idaho, California, Colorado and Arizona.
