'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'

The Utah Shakespeare Festival will hold auditions for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Needed are 60 students ages 7-16. All roles will be cast during auditions. Performers should prepare a 15-20 second speech from Dr. Seuss, Shel Silverstein or another children's author, and up to 16 bars (under one minute) of sheet music that shows a lively personality. An accompanist will be provided.

When • Jan. 31, 3:30-7 p.m.

'High School Musical Jr.'

Sandy Arts Guild announces auditions for "High School Musical Jr." Needed are boys and girls who are middle, junior and high school age. All parts are open. Auditioners should prepare 16 bars of an up-tempo musical theater/pop piece. Please bring sheet music, no minus tracks or recorded music. An accompanist will be available. Also be prepared to learn a short dance combination. Bring a list of scheduling conflicts from Feb. 5 to April 16, as well as a current photo and resume.
