The BYU women's basketball team came back from a 16-point deficit to defeat San Diego State 56-52 on Saturday in Provo and clinch at least a share of the Mountain West Conference regular-season title.

Senior Coriann Fraughton led the Cougars with 10 points in her final game at the Marriott Center.

The Cougars (21-7, 13-1) trailed 44-28 early in the second half before rallying for their 10th consecutive victory.

With two conference games remaining, BYU leads second-place TCU by two games in the loss column.

Louisiana Tech 78, Utah State 70 • In Logan, Ashlee Brown had 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Aggies (15-12, 9-5 Western Athletic Conference), but the Lady Techsters (21-5, 13-0) remained perfect in league play.

Utah Valley 82, Houston Baptist 58 • In Orem, Kim Bell and Jenna Johnson scored 21 points each to lead the Wolverines (6-20, 4-7 Great West Conference) to the win.

SUU 60, Oakland 49 • In Cedar City, Challis Pascucci matched a career high with 28 points for the Thunderbirds (16-12, 10-7 Summit League).

Men

Utah Valley 67, Houston Baptist 62 • In Orem, the Wolverines (18-10, 10-1) clinched at least a share of the Great West Conference title with the win.

Ben Aird, the reigning conference player of the week, led the way with 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting and 11 rebounds. Isiah Williams added 14 points and Geddes Robison finished with 12 points and 13 boards, helping Utah Valley University to a 48-23 edge on the glass.

Justin Baker, Shawn Deadwiler and Jordan Swarbrick each played their final regular-season home game for UVU.
