CBS isn't exaggerating. This week's episode of Survivor: Redemption Island (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) really is must-see TV for fans of the show.
How good is it? Well, I really, really want to tell you what happens. But, not only would that be spoiling it for you, but it would make the folks at CBS really, really mad at me. And they were kind enough to send me a screener of this week's episode.
So I'll be deliberately vague. I was indeed shocked at what happened in this episode. Perhaps not in the way that you might think, but there is a big surprise. Something I didn't see coming. Something I would never have predicted.
If you've watched "Survivor" at all over the past couple of years, you won't want to miss it.

Mr. Sunshine (8:30 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Ben discovers that Roman has nowhere to live, so he lets him move in.
Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): The team tries to hunt down a serial sniper.
Off the Map (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): The doctors tend to the victims of a water taxi accident.
Top Chef: All-Stars (11 p.m., Bravo): The chefs are in the Bahamas for the rest of the season.
Justified (11 p.m., FX): Raylan and the Bennett clan are headed for a showdown.
The Real World: Vegas (11 p.m., MTV): The 25th-season premiere introduces us to a bunch of kids who think they're the center of the universe, who can't get along, and who have the morals of dogs in heat. In other words, business as usual for "The Real World."
