Shameless plea time.
Several of us at The Salt Lake Tribune have been asked to create "fan" pages on Facebook, and I happily agreed, though I see that as it stands now, I have only 5 people who like me, and that includes my wife (and not my sisters, who will not be getting Christmas gifts this year.) Granted, I only did a soft launch on Friday evening, but the lack of response has been painful.
If it isn't too much trouble, would you mind taking a second and search for "david burger tribune" in Facebook's search engine, and once you find the page, "Like" me near the top of the page? The page should read something like "David Burger The Salt Lake Tribune." I also have a personal page, and I would welcome friends, there, too, but there I mostly talk about what kind of sandwich bread I had for lunch. There is no option for "Not Like," by the way.
If you did "Like" me, it would do wonders for my self-esteem. The more people who "like" me, the more blogging and online reporting I'll be inclined to do. Probably.
Thanks for your time.
