Just got a glowing review from a reader about Cucina Vanina a new Italian cafe and deli in Cottonwood Heights.

"I haven't had food this authentic since we were in Italy," wrote Michelle A.

Owner Vanina Pirollo, grew up in Italy and moved to the United State several years ago with her husband. She worked as a personal chef until she opened Cucina Vanina. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and early dinners. It serves appetizers, pastas, salads, soups and paninis. Prices from $5 to $12.
