Attorneys Romaine Marshall and Cecilia Romero have been elected to Holland & Hart's partnership. Marshall is a litigation specialist who primarily handles business, environmental, and oil and gas litigation. Romero's practice includes complex commercial litigation and counseling.

The Walton Group Inc. has hired Scott Richards as an account consultant to promote company growth and enhance public relations and advertising ventures. He is a senior at Brigham Young University and will be graduating with a bachelor's degree in communications with a public relations emphasis in April.

Snell & Wilmer has named James Jones as a partner in its Salt Lake City office. His practice focuses on real estate, environmental law and energy and finance.

Diego Carroll has been named a supervising engineer in the Murray office of Parsons Brinckerhoff. He will be responsible for pursuing and managing projects, including transportation planning, traffic engineering and roadway and site design. He has more than a decade of experience in the field.

Parsons Behle & Latimer has named Brandon J. Mark as a shareholder. He is a member of the firm's litigation, intellectual property and real estate departments. His practice focuses on commercial disputes, mass torts and the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Erik S. Ericksen has been named equity partner with the firm of Thorpe North & Western LLP, with whom he has been associated since 2002. He has focused on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patents in the chemical and material sciences, as well as in noninfringement and invalidity opinions, trademarks and licensing matters.

Children's Miracle Network Hospitals has hired John Lauck as president and CEO. He most recently served as Co-CEO of Mrs. Fields Famous Brands and brings extensive leadership and marketing experience to the position.

Listen Technologies Corp. has hired Bryan Ganz as its FM/IR product group leader. He is responsible for sales and marketing plans worldwide, as well as the life-cycle management of the FM and IR product lines.

The Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce has named Blake M. Roney the first recipient of its Pillar of the Valley award. It is the chamber's highest honor, recognizing people who have contributed in extraordinary ways to the business, civic, social, educational or cultural climate of the area.

Sunroc Building Materials has named Brian Johnson general manager of its retail operations in Springville.

C.R. England has named Dustin England vice president of safety compliance. He will work in OSHA compliance and regulatory issues based on federal, state and company policies. He has been with the company for 12 years.

Ray Wahl has been appointed deputy state court administrator for the Utah State Courts. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Administrative Office of the Courts and assists the state court administrator and Utah Judicial Council.

Bank of American Fork has hired Jon Allen as chief compliance officer. He is an attorney with more than 13 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently as a vice president, branch manager and legal counsel of Capital Community Bank in Pleasant Grove.

Greg Butterfield, managing partner of SageCreek Partners, has joined Allegiance Inc.'s board of directors to help develop strategy, grow its business and increase revenue.

Arnold Milstein has been named to serve on the Intermountain Healthcare board of trustees. He is a nationally recognized expert on health care quality, and is the medical director of the Pacific Business Group on Health, a coalition that seeks to improve the quality and availability of health care, while moderating cost.
