Call center operator Convergys Corp. wants to hire 690 people to work at its offices in Taylorsville.
They will provide customer service and sales support for Convergys clients in the financial services and cable/satellite industries.
Job-seekers may apply at one of two open houses being held at the facility from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and May 25 at 860 W. Levoy Drive (4380 South).
Convergys, which has 4,000 employees working at five call centers in Utah, said it is seeking workers with customer service or sales experience, computer skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings.
