The internet was in an uproar about Joe Johnson's game-winner in Game 1 against the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday night. Here's what several news outlets wrote about the veteran's clutch shot to send the Utah Jazz to a victory.

"The Jazz didn't call timeout and put the ball into the hands of Johnson, who drove around Jamal Crawford and threw up a floater that bounced twice on the heel of the rim and went down as the clock struck zero."

"The outcome was in doubt until Johnson's last shot."

"Johnson's shot not only swiped home-court advantage, it laid bare Utah's biggest advantage over LA in the match-up: comfort amidst adversity."

"On Saturday, he made the Jazz's decision to add his veteran presence look like a genius move. Turns out you can outsource the clutch."

"Johnson ... signed a two-year contract to help mentor the young Utah Jazz into contention. But through it all, Johnson can still play. Just ask the Los Angeles Clippers, who were victimized by another ISO-Joe dagger in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series."

"The man in question was Joe Marcus Johnson, professional scorer, manufacturer of points, and the NBA player who has drained more buzzer-beaters than any other over the past decade."

NBA

"Any buzzer beater is memorable. To do it on the postseason, in the challenging circumstances of Saturday, on the road and down a key player, that goes to a different level."

"To the Jazz's credit, they continued to rely on their defense and made timely shots. It also helped they had the Clutch God himself (and a coach who didn't call timeout on the final possession)."
