$9 • Park City's new Main Street restaurant Silver serves up some pretty killer New American food, including one of the most interesting salads I've had recently. Don't let its name fool you: The butter leaf salad may sound subtle, but its flavors are far from it.

Scattered among the greens are shaves of parmesan, nubbins of sweet dates, roasted corn, toasted pumpkin seeds and wisps of hot jalapeƱo. The lot, which provides enough food for two, is tossed in a basil vinaigrette.

Silver is at 508 Main St., Park City; 435-940-1000. Open nightly, 5 to 10 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.silverrestaurant.com.
