In response to Chad Mullins' letter on cars sharing the road with bicyclists ("Cycling laws," Forum, June 22): If cyclists want respect from motorists they need to obey the laws. They should not run stop signs and red lights.

A lawbreaking cyclist ran into my car's rear quarter panel, and I saw a cyclist killed while running a red light in Draper.
