Souls dancing
SCERA Center for the Arts presents its annual "Dancing Under the Stars" show, featuring choreographer Justin Giles, whose work has appeared on "So You Think You Can Dance" this season. His 12-member dance company, SoulEscape, will perform contemporary jazz while famous paintings are projected on a screen.

Butoh dance workshop
The Ravie Za Dance Company will offer two Japanese Butoh dance workshops. Participants need not be dancers but should be in generally good physical condition. Taken from "ankoku buyou," the dance of deep darkness, Butoh was developed after World War II. These classes are offered in conjunction with Jim Frazer's and Suzanne Simpson's immersive art installation "Surrounded" at 54 Finch Lane Gallery.

Expansion auditions
Bonnie Story and the Treehouse Athletic Club will hold auditions for "Expansions," a program that prepares student dancers for professional or company work. Dancers must have a high level of technique. Open to boys and girls 16 and older.
