Costume-clad competitors raced in two hilarious athletic events - a ski boot run (approximately 1K) or a 50-meter snowboard skootch. The fastest racers in each division won prizes including Rossignol skis or snowboard, Smith Optics and other Ski Utah swag. A special award for the best costume, as judged by a panel, won a Ski Utah Yeti Pass good for one day of skiing at every Utah resort during the 2011-12 season. The registration fee to participate was five-dollars per person per race and 50 percent of profits earned will be donated to the Utah Avalanche Center.
