Welcome to our weekly predictions for the Pac-12 Conference — where if you don't like the score, just wait a couple of hours.

Colorado vs. Colorado State (+7 1/2), 11:30 a.m. — Judging by ticket sales, public appetite for the rivalry game in Denver appears to be waning, and this probably won't help. Colorado 31, CSU 17.

No. 24 Texas at UCLA (+3 1/2), 1:30 p.m. — Boy, how many marginal quarterbacks can you fit into one game? Coaches might wear out the revolving door on the sideline in this one. Texas 24, UCLA 21.

Washington at No. 10 Nebraska (-16 1/2), 1:30 p.m. — The Huskies stunned the Cornhuskers in the Holiday Bowl last season. Don't think the Huskers won't remember that. Nebraska 37, Washington 20.

Missouri State at No. 12 Oregon (No line), 1:30 p.m. — Let's see, the Ducks hung 69 on Nevada, and now have lower-division Missouri State coming to town. Suppose the fancy Autzen scoreboard goes to 100? Oregon 62, Missouri State 10.

Presbyterian at Cal (NL), 3:30 p.m. — If the Golden Bears had the same ratio of scholarship players to students as Presbyterian (enrollment: 1,200), their team would be 1,339 members strong. Cal 55, Presbyterian 7.

Washington State at San Diego State (-5 1/2), 4:30 p.m. — Now we find out how silly it was to write all those articles about the Cougars leading the nation in scoring, after only two games. San Diego State 31, Washington State 27.

No. 22 Arizona State at Illinois (-1 1/2), 5:30 p.m. — Word is, the Sun Devils committed four penalties and missed six tackles just getting off the bus. The Illini won't give that defense much rest, either. Illinois 37, Arizona State 34.

Syracuse at USC (-16 1/2), 6 p.m. — The Trojans might actually be pretty dangerous if they could both run the ball and keep hold of it. Then again, the Orange can't run, either. USC 30, Syracuse 13.

Utah at BYU (-4 1/2), 7:15 p.m. — Well, this is certainly awkward. Rivalry game in September? Just doesn't feel right … kind of like the offenses on both sides. Expect a close one, though, as usual. BYU 24, Utah 21.

No. 6 Stanford at Arizona (+9 1/2), 8:45 p.m. — Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the most one-dimensional team in America. Throw as they might, the Wildcats don't have enough to keep up with the Cardinal. Stanford 41, Arizona 27. —
