Right now, it's a huge concern.

The junior guard, simply put, has been pretty much shelved all summer and for all of preseason workouts for Utah State's basketball team.

When healthy, Bumpus is startingly athletic for a shooting guard, has a nice shot and can get to the basket off the dribble with ease.

But he hasn't been healthy. His foot has been a nagging concern, and it's a huge question as to whether or not he will be ready for the official start of practice next Friday.

Bumpus is already very much behind, and he was being counted on to replace the perimeter production from last year's seniors Tyler Newbold and Pooh Williams.

This is a situation to stay tuned for Aggie fans.
