It's Halloween weekend, which means it's again time for the original interactive movie, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," to return to the Tower Theatre, 876 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City.

The 1975 camp rock musical — starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf — will screen Thursday, Oct. 27, at 10 p.m. at the Tower.

The show repeats Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28 and 29, at 8 p.m. and midnight, and Monday, Oct. 31 (Halloween itself) at 10 p.m.

The Tower's live cast, The Latter-Day Transvestites, will perform alongside the film — and do a pre-show that starts 30 minutes before the film.

Tickets are $10, at the Tower box office. No outside props are allowed, but prop kits will be available for $3 each.

• If you live in northern Utah and don't want to drive south (after all, the car might have a blowout, and you'd have to walk in the rain to a nearby castle to use their telephone), Peery's Egyptian Theatre in Ogden, at 2415 Washington Blvd., will have its annual "Rocky Horror" screening, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28-29, at 8 p.m. (with a costume and dance competition starting at 7:45 p.m.)

Tickets to the Ogden show are $12, and are available at SmithsTix locations. No outside props here, either, but prop bags will be handed out to everyone who buys a ticket.
