Park City and the Sundance Film Festival were a mess Saturday. The heavy snowfall resulted in dozens of fender benders and much more than the usual delays.

Weirdly enough, one of the stars of "The First Time" almost didn't make it to the film festival, and it had nothing to do with the storm in Utah.

"I almost didn't make it," said Britt Robertson. "There was a freak snowstorm in Vancouver," where her television series "The Secret Circle" is produced.

"This is nothing compared to what I was battling in Vancouver. It was horrible. I had to take a town car to Seattle and get a flight out of Seattle — that was delayed and oversold by 60 people.

"But I'm here, miraculously!"
