The Utah-based Celtic band Shanahy—featuring fiddles, highland pipes, cauldwind pipes, uilleann pipes, whistle, flute, bodhran and, presumably, the Irish shofar—will perform traditional jigs and reels from Scotland and Ireland at the Jewish Community Center Saturday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m.

It's $10 at the JCC, 2 North Medical Drive, Salt Lake City (across from University Hospital). Drinks and noshing materials will be on hand.
