Haunted houses — they're not just for Halloween anymore.

Utah's newest haunted attraction, the Fear Factory, is opening for Easter. Well, it won't be open on Easter Sunday, and it's sort of a coincidence. But scaring will resume at the old Portland Cement Company Plant at 666 W. 900 South on April 5, 6 and 7 — the three days leading up to Easter — from 8-11 p.m.

They're calling it the Spring Insurrection, and it will continue the following week (April 13 and 14). The opening is scheduled to coincide with local schools' spring breaks.

Adding to the excitement: The cement plant was the site of several grisly deaths. Are the victims' ghosts still haunting the site?
