Goalkeeper Nick Rimando says that RSL is "confident on the road." And it sure looks the part, having dismantled the Los Angeles Galaxy and stormed back on Portland on the road already this season. Now, it can win a third straight road game for only the third time in franchise history, if it beats unblemished Sporting KC in the early-season game of the year at Livestrong Sporting Park on Saturday night, where some nasty weather is forecast to threaten to proceedings.Only twice before has RSL managed to win three straight road games — last season, and, inexplicably, during its 10-13-9 season back in 2006.But coaches and players say that the team's approach to road games is much different now, thanks largely to simple experience."It comes through experience, and it comes through time together," Kreis said. "If you've played games at places like Saprissa and Monterrey, Portland and Kansas City don't seem that over-awing."Just the confidence level of the entire group and the maturity level of the entire group is to a point now that it doesn't matter too much to them where we're playing," Kreis added. "We're still going to approach the game with the exact same philosophy and mentality as when we play at home. We are Real Salt Lake, whether we're in Salt Lake or Kansas City or Portland or Vancouver. It doesn't matter. We're still Real Salt Lake, we're still trying to do the same things."
