If you enjoy a good bargain, you may enjoy a trip to these outlet stores:

The NPS Store, a popular liquidation company, operates a general merchandise and food store at 1600 S. Empire Road in Salt Lake City, just off Redwood Road. The "salvage and freight recovery" company pretty much offers everything you can imagine at super-low prices. You'll never know what you'll find at NPS! Go HERE for more information.

Lofthouse Cookies has an outlet store at 986 W. 2nd Street, Building 12A, Ogden. Cookies are $1.25 per package. Go HERE to the Lofthouse Cookies website for more information or call (801) 452-6208. (Many varieties of Lofthouse cookies freeze well.) Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays; closed Sundays.

Utah's Gossner Foods has an outlet store at 1051 N. 1000 West in Logan. You'll find a variety of dairy products, including shelf-stable milk under the Gossner and Hershey's brands. I have yet to find shelf-stable milk for a cheaper price. Many Utahns make annual or semiannual treks to stock up on dairy products. (Some people freeze cheese.) Hours are 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. For information and directions, call 435-752-9365.
