VIDEO GAME • There's nothing better than satisfying your violent tendencies on the go. "Mortal Kombat" for the PlayStation Vita portable system is a spot-on adaptation of the console fighting game of last year that keeps intact the bonus modes, roster of fighters and thumb-twitching action. All of the graphical beauty of the console game has been ported over to the mobile game, as well as all the bone-crunching moves and bloody fatalities. And there are a few new gameplay additions for the Vita's touchscreen that make good use of that feature. While the number of standout games for the Vita has been low of late, this definitely is a title worthy of the Vita's outstanding capabilities and portable form factor.
