Ralph Yarro is known for his high-tech businesses but now he's gone rather low-tech with a new venture.

Yarro and his brother Justin, an industrial designer, have created a company called Ximbiot Inc. to bottle and sell a new fruit-flavored punch.

But it isn't the sugar-water, fruit-juice combination that's the main attraction of the Zimbi drink.

Rather, it's the aerodynamic design of the plastic bottle. Once emptied, the rocket-shaped bottle can be tossed and will then fly for a distance, a design that took two years to develop.

"It's a real product and it doesn't exist in the world anywhere," Justin said.

Ralph said they built their own bottling plant in Orem after rapid growth and difficulty in finding a bottler that could consistently fulfill their needs. Now, he said, they are in a position to expand their distribution and can expect higher profit margins by doing the bottling themselves.

"If we get the growth we expect and want, we need the flexibility to be able to control that," Ralph said.

The brothers are looking to expand into the Midwest and California and hope to get into some big retailers.
