Utah Arts Festival
The 2012 Utah Arts Festival concludes in downtown Salt Lake City on Library Square. For 36 years, the Utah Arts Festival has showcased the state's artistic community, while featuring outstanding national artists. As part of this year's show, the festival commissioned artist Ted Siebert to create a giant sand sculpture.

OnStage in Utah
Utah Arts & Museums is now accepting online applications for OnStage in Utah. This competitive funding opportunity is available to presenters to support public performances and educational outreach of in-state or out-of-state performing artists. Awards from $200 to $2,000 for up to half of an artist fee are available.

SUMA Art Hike
Southern Utah Museum of Art's hike series continues with mixed-media abstract artist Anne Weiler-Brown, who will take participants on the Timber Creek Overlook Trail in Kolob Canyons at Zion National Park. Participants are encouraged to bring their own art supplies (sketch books, pencils, pastels or watercolors) and cameras. Hikers need to provide transportation, an adequate lunch, sturdy hiking shoes or boots, knapsack, a minimum one quart of water per person, rain jacket, personal first aid kit, sun screen protection, and layered, comfortable clothing (for any type of weather). Walking sticks and insect repellant are recommended but not required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Seasons on the Colorado Plateau
The Bighorn Gallery at Dead Horse Point State Park will be exhibiting images by Moab photographer Jon Fuller. "Seasons on the Colorado Plateau" is a collection of photographs on display.
