Katherine Jenkins – the young Welsh mezzo-soprano who was a 2012 finalist on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" – will once again take her place on American television on July 21 and again on the 24, when BYUtv broadcasts in entirety her upcoming concerts with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. Jenkins will join the choir's 360 vocalists as the featured performer for "Joy of Song," the annual commemoration of Mormon pioneers who settled the Salt Lake Valley.

Conducted by Mack Wilberg, the choir's music director, the two-concert program will showcase classical and hymn selections alongside songs from the Broadway stage and Hollywood screen. On their web site, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir notes that Jenkins' nationality qualifies her for the Pioneer Day celebration, since many early Mormons emigrated from the British Isles. BYUtv's concert broadcast schedule is:

July 21, 7 p.m. MTJuly 24, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and midnight MT

The concerts are also available by Video On Demand at byutv.org.

By the way, she is rumored to be dating Utah native Derek Hough, a dancer on "Dancing With the Stars."
