A graduate of Westminster College, Andersen a strong background in the financial services industry, specializing in information technology. The company also has hired Jeremy Lindquist as its long-term care specialist to help educate, support, and motivate the firm's agents and clients about long-term care insurance. He has 20 years experience in the insurance industry.
Manning Curtis Bradshaw & Bednar, a Salt Lake City-based law firm that specializes in commercial litigation, has announced that James E. Ji and Jess M. Krannich have become members. Ji joined the firm in September 2008. His practice areas are commercial litigation and employment litigation. Prior to joining Manning Curtis in March, Krannich worked in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he was a partner in the litigation department.
Pharmacist Erin R. Fox, director of the drug information service at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, has been named a fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists for distinguished service to pharmacy practice in hospitals and health systems. The award was presented during the society's summer meeting and exhibition last month in Baltimore.

The Utah Bankers Association has elected new officers for 2012- 2013. Louise P. Kelly, president and CEO of EnerBank USA, Salt Lake City, was elected chairman. Anthony Hall, president and CEO of Lewiston State Bank, was elected first vice chairman. Greg Winegardner, regional president of community banking at Wells Fargo, was elected second vice chairman. Damon Miller, Utah market president at U.S. Bank, is the immediate past chairman.
Sera Prognostics Inc., a women's health company based in Salt Lake City that is developing diagnostic tests for early prediction of preterm birth and other pregnancy complications, has announced the appointment of Sherree Frazier as vice president of sales and marketing.
