Spring City Pioneer Days

Spring City will hold its annual Pioneer Days celebration, July 17-24.

Kaysville City will hold a breakfast benefiting the Kaysville Recreation Department.

Days of '47 Sunrise Service

The Pioneer Chapter of the Sons of Utah Pioneers will present a Sunrise Service honoring Utah's pioneers, featuring the Tabernacle organist and several hundred voices in combined choirs from around the valley.

Days of '47 Parade

The Days of '47 Parade is one of the country's largest and oldest continuous pardes in the United States. The route starts at South Temple and State Street and heads east to 200 East, turns south to 900 South, then turns east to Liberty Park at 600 East. It will be televised by KSL TV.

Union Pacific anniversary celebration

Union Pacific join this year's festivities in dual commemoration of the state's rich history and the railroad's 150th anniversary. Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert will issue a declaration, and Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker will make a presentation to Union Pacific officials.

Spanish Fork Fiesta Days
