After four years of operations, Utah's Bohme Boutique has been named to the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the country, according to the company's owners.
Vivien and Fernanda Bohme, sisters from Rio de Janeiro, first opened a temporary store in Fashion Place Mall for the holidays in 2007. Today, there are 15 Bohme Boutique stores, seven in Utah with the rest in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada and South Dakota. The company is generating annual revenue of approximately $16 million.
The Bohme Boutique outlets focus on selling denim, skirts, tops and jewelry clothing and accessories the owners describe as "feminine shabby-chic."
The company plans to have 40 stores open by 2014.
