Logan • Utah State graduate Jalen Moore has signed a two-way contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, meaning he will likely spend time with the Bucks and Milwaukee's NBA G-League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd. Moore is one of two players within the Bucks organization with a two-way contract, joining former Wisconsin guard Bronson Koenig, who signed his contract on July 6.

According to the Bucks' news release on Koenig, NBA rules permit teams to have two two-way players on their roster at any given time, in addition to their 15-man regular-season roster. A two-way player for the Bucks will provide services primarily for the team's G-League affiliate — the Wisconsin Herd — but can spend up to 45 days with Milwaukee, not including any time prior to the start of the Herd's training camp and at the conclusion of his season.

Moore led Utah State in scoring with 17.0 points a game, fifth in the Mountain West, and 5.5 rebounds per game, 11th in conference, last season and was just the third Aggie in school history to lead the team in both scoring and rebounding in three separate years, joining Greg Grant (1982-84, 1985-86) and Marvin Roberts (1968-71).

Moore had the seventh-longest double-digit scoring streak in school history in 2016-17, scoring in double figures in 34 consecutive games. In all, Moore scored in double figures in all but one game and led the Aggies in points 16 times, logging a career high of 27 points in the season finale against Nevada in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West tournament. Moore also paced Utah State on the glass in 11 games this season, recording a season high of 15 rebounds against Nevada on Feb. 1.

Moore wrapped up his career at Utah State among the top 10 in nine career records and among the top 15 in career rebounds. Moore finished fifth in double-digit scoring (91 games), fifth in total minutes (3,815), seventh in blocks (69), field goal attempts (1,210), 3-point field goal attempts (449), consecutive double-digit scoring outings (34) and games played (125), eighth in 3-point field goals made (172), ninth in games started (97), 10th in field goals made (574) and 15th in career rebounds (654).

Moore is currently a member of the Bucks' Summer League roster in Las Vegas, making his debut against the Cleveland Cavaliers on July 7. Moore played 16 minutes during the game and scored six points, hitting 2 of 3 from behind the arc, and added one rebound. Milwaukee is back in action on Sunday, July 9, facing the Brooklyn Nets at 4 p.m. (MT) on NBAtv.

Teams will play three preliminary games before being seeded in a tournament that starts Wednesday, July 12 and concludes with the championship game on Monday, July 17. Each team will play a minimum of five games in Las Vegas.
