Veteran center Brian Butch is expected to attend training camp with the Jazz.

The former Wisconsin big man will likely compete with Trey Gilder and Darnell Jackson, among others, for a roster spot.

Butch, 27, averaged 15.3 points and 9.8 rebounds for the NBA Development League's Bakersfield Jam during the 2011-12 season.

The 6-foot-11, 240-pound Butch wasn't drafted after leaving Wisconsin in 2008.

Utah's roster is at 15 heading into camp. Second-round pick Kevin Murphy must make the team, though, while veteran guard Raja Bell isn't expected to play for Utah this season.
