From its first senator to more recent leaders, Utah has seen its share of intrigue.

The Senate then killed the bill that would have made the day after Thanksgiving an official state holiday, "Family Day." But Utah's attorney general is hardly alone. The Beehive State boasts a long line of political brouhahas — from a U.S. senator slain by his mistress to a Utah lawmaker toppled by a nude hot-tubbing escapade.

There are tales of sex, lies and audiotapes. And money, of course, lurks at the root of many political evils.
