When the BYU-Central Florida football series was announced back in September of 2010, the schools said that the Cougars' return visit to UCF — after hosting the Knights in 2011 — would be played on Sept. 6, 2014. It became evident that the game wouldn't be played on that date a year or so ago, when the Cougars said they were playing at Texas on Sept. 6, 2014. This weekend, it became clear when that game will be played. Central Florida released its 2014 nonconference schedule, and the Knights say they will play host to BYU on Oct. 11 in Orlando. That means that 11 of BYU's 12 games in 2014 are set. The schedule is listed below. BYU defeated Central Florida 24-17 in 2011, thanks to Cody Hoffman's 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The Knights are in the American Athletic Conference now, having moved from Conference USA. So BYU has one more slot to fill in 2014. The Cougars have three open dates (Sept. 13, Nov. 22, Nov. 29) and probably don't want to play 12 straight games without a bye, so they seemingly will not play on Sept. 13 next year. That leaves Nov. 22 and Nov. 29 as possibilities, most likely on the road because BYU already has six home games scheduled in 2014.BYU's 2014 Football ScheduleAug. 28 — at Connecticut
