Directions • From the town of Francis, take State Road 35 east for 30 miles. Or from Duchesne, take State Road 87 north for 6 miles, then SR 35 west for 30 miles. Turn north onto Fork Road and follow it for 6.4 miles. Turn right at the sign for Grandview Trail Head. Follow the dirt road 6 miles up the winding, switchback road to the Grandview Trail Head.

About the hike • The scenic Uinta Mountains get even better on this shady hike to two beautiful lakes. From the Grandview Trail Head, there is a gradual 2.52-mile climb through the pine and aspen to a ridge. On the other side is your first view of Grandady Lake, the much larger of the two lakes on this hike. Continue on the trail with Granddaddy on your right and follow the sign to Betsy Lake. You'll start to see Betsy on your left near the 3-mile mark. Be prepared to share the trail with horses. • Trail data
