It's not often police crack down on a Barbie Jeep.

An American Fork police officer was patrolling an east Cedar Hills neighborhood — the department is contracted to serve the Utah County city — in the early morning hours of Oct. 1 when he noticed the plastic ride on the curb. So he got out of vehicle and pushed it out of the road, said Lt. Sam Liddiard.

Then, in the spirit of humor, filled out an abandoned vehicle tag and stuck it in the door of the Barbie Jeep.

The father of the Jeep's owner, a 7-year-old girl named Autumn, eventually saw the citation — made out to Barbie, according to KTRK, an ABC affiliate in Houston, Tex.
