Utah Division of Wildlife Resources fisheries officials sent me a report for known ice conditions on some northern Utah water as of Monday afternoon. Thanks James Abbott for the information.

Birch Creek has 2-5 inches of iceCausey was surveyed today (12/09) and has 4-6 inches of ice. Mantua has about 1-4 inches of ice. There were anglers fishing on Saturday 12/7/2013 that reported 3 inches near the boat ramp but there were many places where the ice was only an inch thick..Rockport is frozen, anglers were seen fishing near the dam on Friday 12/06/2013Pineview was surveyed today (12/09) and has thin ice, less than 1 inch thick. There are many spots of open water.Lost Creek has some ice 3-4 inches thick near the dam but there are man spots of open water and thin ice as well.Many of the community ponds including Bountiful Lake, Farmington Lake and Holmes Reservoir have ice but it is very thin.
