The new Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, located in Draper at 12033 S. Lone Peak Parkway, will be housed in a new building encompassing over 136,000 square feet. The 4D theater is a 3D movie incorporated with additional sensory effects such as wind, mist, and movement still under construction, Thursday, January 9, 2014.

Kelser was commissioned by the aquarium to concept, design and sculpt a one-of-a-kind display featuring the life-sized feeding whale shark and four manta rays displayed in the lobby of the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. The sculpture will be suspended from the ceiling, surrounded by 8 to 14-foot Manta rays.

The Journey To South America Gallery exhibits rainforest species and will include Amazon Giants, free-flight tropical birds, Caiman, Anaconda, an Electric Eel and dozens
of other exotic Amazon species. The Amazon giants' habitat will be 8 times larger and house 15 species of freshwater animals from the rivers of the Amazon, Thursday, January 9, 2014.
