Each Friday, The Salt Lake Tribune presents historic images in a special series called A Look Back. This week's installment features early photos of bicycling in Utah around the turn of the 20th century. Bicycling was much more than simply a mode of transportation: It was also a popular form of recreation and a competitive sport at The Salt Palace and Saltairr velodromes.
