BYU coach Dave Rose met with reporters on Thursday night after the Cougars' 88-78 win over Pacific in a West Coast Conference men's basketball game.

Rose said BYU's energy level was good and execution was good in stretches as the Cougars snapped a two-game losing streak.

Rose also said junior Tyler Haws, who had 38 points, is soaring right now because his confidence level is high and his teammates are setting him up for good shots.
