Park City's Sarah Hendrickson drew bib No. 1, so she will make history tonight as the first women's ski jumper to take flight in the Olympics. Hendrickson, 19, is a former World Cup champion who has recovered from a severe knee injury, returning to the snow less than a month ago. Two other Park City products, Lindsey Van and Jessica Jerome, also will compete. They're much older than Hendrickson and are among the driving forces of the inclusion of women's ski jumping in the Games. They grew up using the Utah Olympic Park facility. "Having a ski jump in your hometown is a unique thing," Jerome said, labeling the venue "an amazing playground in your backyard."The competition begins at 10:30 a.m. Utah time.
