Salt Lake City police were looking for a real "Hamburglar," a man who threatened a McDonald's restaurant employee with a knife before making off with food.
Police said Tuesday that they were still working on a description of the man, who had entered the eatery at 960 W North Temple Street about 12:45 p.m. Monday and then tried to leave with food items.
A clerk confronted the man as he approached the front exit, and that is when he pulled aside his coat to reveal the knife. He then left the store and was last seen fleeing the area on foot.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to call SLCPD at 801-799-3000.
