A fifth-wheel travel trailer went up in flames, but West Valley City firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading to nearby homes Tuesday morning.

Bob Fitzgerald, a battalion chief with the West Valley City Fire Department, said the fire was reported about 6:35 a.m. at 9194 W. 2530 South.

Crews found the RV fully engulfed in flames upon arrival and opted to focus on containing the fire to the trailer and keeping it from spreading to two nearby homes and several vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

The trailer, valued at $15,000, was a complete loss.
