How refreshing to read in this morning's Public Forum, two letters of thanks ("Letter: Thanks to men who helped 77-year-old," "Letter: Sugar House liquor store patrons, staff kind to a stranger," March 16).

It seems that so often, our human nature is to find fault and to cast aspersions, and it is those words that readily find their voice in publication. I personally wish to thank the two writers who took time to acknowledge their appreciation to the strangers who came to their aid.

As I was walking my dog this morning, I thought back to those two letters; wouldn't it be nice if more of us took the time to voice the kindnesses of those around us whose actions enhance the moments in our lives.
