These aren't your normal convention panel discussions. So it must be Comic Con.
The spring Salt Lake Comic Con event, called FanX, has announced its roster of panel discussions, and they range from the practical for the burgeoning genre artist to the absolutely bizarre.
The convention, now in its second iteration after the wildly successful event debuted in Salt Lake City last September to record numbers, will host more than 70 panels ranging from tips on becoming a voice actor for film, television and games to the history of Batman's sidekick, Robin. And where else can you go to engage in a fiery debate over which is better — the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One?

The three-day event, which will be held April 17 through 19 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City, is expected to bring nearly 100,000 attendees total.
The first Salt Lake Comic Con destroyed record attendance for Utah conventions. By drawing between 70,000 and 80,000 people on just its last day alone, the convention was the largest first-time Comic Con in the U.S. ever and the biggest convention of any type in Utah.
The FanX event will host a new roster of celebrities including William Shatner, who will host a panel discussion with other "Star Trek" actors, and cast members of the popular "The Walking Dead" television show.
Tickets for FanX are still on sale and range from $15 to $40 for a single-day pass and $40 to $60 for a three-day pass. A VIP pass is $175. For more information on the event, go to saltlakecomiccon.com.
