Ronald Reagan's Iran-Contra and CIA meddling in South America that continued into the George H.W. Bush administration, and George W. Bush's illegal, immoral invasion of Iraq, Abu Ghraib and torture have all contributed to the loss of the United States' moral high ground.

Whenever our president takes a stand on human rights or sovereignty issues, I hear the world resounding, "Who the hell are you to talk?"
